Kid's health and vitamins

Hey all! So, my plan was to post a new blog every Thursday. I started 2. . . but never finished either.  Then, we decided to bring a puppy home!! She is technically a foster to adopt which is amazing because we can figure out if she is the perfect addition to our family.  So far she is wonderful and we are all learning to work around spay rest for a crazy pup, mouthing, toy stealing, and potty training.  My home and heart are so full, and crazy. . .mostly crazy, but I love it!  I mean, look at this face!!

So, beside all of this is flu season and snow storms! How are they related you ask? Well, the snow storm delayed my supplements! Ahhh! Luckily, the kids have stayed fairly healthy, but I am so so happy to have their multivitamin and Vitamin C + D chews again.  My kids are ecstatic as well, because the LOVE their vitamins! I literally bribed my 4 year old to finish his dinner to get a vitamin after, and he did! They come running when I say it's vitamin time, and they get upset when they can't have another! I also have a friend who's daughter refused even the super sugary, gummy vitamins, but these she will take with only one gram of real sugar per chewable. ONE! REAL! I hope this hits you as hard as it did me.  Have you looked at your child's multivitamin lately? Or, ever? Or are you like most people that pick them up either because of a low price, pretty package, gummy candy like flavor, or even because it's what you had as a kid (and you're fine right?) so it has to be good!  I'm not dogging on every other multi, I know there are plenty of good ones out there, but if you do nothing else, read the label and all of the ingredients.  They are full of binders, fillers, fake sugars, colors, dyes, and some even have talc in them.  In contrast, the DNA Miracles Chewable Multivitamin provides 15 key vitamins and minerals in a tasty mixed berry tablet, with only 1 gram of natural sugar! There are also no unnecessary binders or fillers, and absolutely no artificial colors, flavors, or sugars. They also include vitamin D for the bones, and vitamins C and E, plus zinc, to support the immune system.  All important for growth and staying healthy.

Sam also takes the DNA Miracles Vitamin C + D3 chews which I can attest to being delicious because we all take them when the crud hits our house! As bone warriors, Vitamin C helps produce collagen (a protein found in bone tissue that promotes bone strength and elasticity) and Vitamin D3 helps the body metabolize Calcium so that bones can retain what they need. Together, Vitamins C and D3 also contribute in support of developing bodies in respect to the immune system, and healthy teeth and gums. These are not for children under 4 because they are quite large, and chewy like a soft starburst. That being said, I have torn them into smaller pieces for Eleanor and simply made sure she ate them while I was watching.  I noticed that she was getting sick more often than Sam, and this chew was the only difference in their diets, so hopefully this will help her keep on track as well.

Another chewable, is the DNA Miracles OPC3 chews.  OPC3 is a clinically backed, highly studied, anti-inflammatory, anti-histamine, anti-oxidant.  It has a punch much stronger than any other anti-oxidant you will find, along with kicking those allergies to the curb naturally! These are found in child and adult forms for anyone suffering from swelling, pain, allergies, illness, you name it. It's amazing and I will be speaking much more on this in the future. For now, I hope everyone is staying healthy!!! Keep up with those vitamins, and make sure you're reading ingredients! Our children deserve the very best!

Something New

I've been told that every day we should do something that scares us. Something that moves us. Something that pushes us. Something new.

Well here goes nothing!

Let me start by introducing myself for those that may not know me.  My name is, Julia Wolfinbarger, and I am a stay at home mom to two beautiful kids, that sometimes (usually) drive me absolutely crazy, Sam, 4, and Eleanor, 2.  My husband, Pierce, works in admin for a private school and is so much more patient and understanding of kids of all ages than I ever hope to be. We have a dog that we rescued in 2010, making her about 9ish years old (we have always had to guess).  Best free dog we could have ever asked for. Aside from the mom life, I teach ESL in the wee hours of the morning to adorable Chinese children, and run my own business between drop off, pick up, gym, dinner, and play.

My business is where a lot of my healthy lifestyle comes from, although I was considered "crunchy" before. I own a product brokerage and internet marketing company that has some of the absolute best products out there. Plus, best part, it's not an MLM! I'm not dogging MLM companies in any way. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them, and some people do very very well.  Problem is, the average person does not. The average person will fail, and I, unfortunately, am very average.  I am not spectacular or gifted or all that overly motivated even. I'm a busy mom of two, with very little "free time".  So I needed a business that was ready to run, that an average person could succeed at.  And I believe I found it! The products include, but are far from limited to, an all natural cleaning line, all natural baby line, an incredible isotonix supplement line, a makeup/skin care line, and a lifestyle program that focuses on helping transition your eating and life to gain/lose/maintain the healthy body you want!

The things I have learned about chemicals, fillers, colors, dyes, diets, and more in the past few years has been absolutely mind opening! I can not wait to share what I have learned, while also hearing from readers for their knowledge, experiences, wishes, wants, and lifestyles.  I am excited for every new and challenging experience that comes into my life, even those that scare and challenge me.  I hope that this blog turns into something fun and informative for all.  Please always feel free to comment with thoughts, experiences, questions, or requests. If a comment is something you don't wish to share on an open forum, then please e-mail me and I will get back to you privately.

Stay healthy!
